(Reuters) - Abercrombie & Fitch ( ANF ) on Monday raised its annual net sales growth target for the current quarter helped by strong demand for its apparel collections during the holiday shopping season.
Investors showed less optimism, with Abercrombie’s stock falling 10% in premarket trading on Monday. This disappointment may be linked to the company’s unchanged operating margin forecast, which stands at 16% for the fourth quarter and 15% for the full year.
The company now expects fourth-quarter net sales to grow between 7% and 8%, compared with the prior target of 5% to 7% growth.
