American Airlines said it experienced technical issues with its flights early Tuesday, temporarily grounding all nationwide flights on one of the busiest travel days of the year. Just before 8 a.m. Eastern time, the Federal Aviation Administration website said that the ground stop on American flights had been lifted. American said that the ground stop lasted for about an hour.
